What are the ages for your programs?
We offer dedicated, age-specific environments tailored to every developmental stage: our infant program serves babies from 6 weeks to 12 months, our toddler program supports children from 12 months to 2 years, our early preschool program is for ages 2 to 3, our Pre-K program prepares children ages 3 to 5 for kindergarten, and we also offer school-age afterschool care.
What makes Kid City different from standard childcare?
Kid City is so much more than a daycare. We are built on two decades of local trust under the leadership of Ty and Kim Symons. We combine a faith-based Abeka curriculum, custom social-emotional frameworks, and an environment where every child is known by name. Many of our teachers and managers have been with us for 10 to 15+ years, creating a tight-knit village feel.
What are your teacher qualifications and class sizes?
Our classrooms are led by dedicated, long-standing educators who love what they do. 100% of our staff are certified in First Aid and CPR, and all staff working with infants undergo rigorous training in SIDS prevention and safe sleep. We strive to keep our class sizes low, running approximately 10–15% below state-mandated ratios to ensure individual attention.
How do you keep the building secure?
Safety is our top priority. Our campus features secure keypad entry systems, maglock-secured perimeter fencing, closed-access parent viewing cameras, and strict visitor monitoring protocols so you always have complete peace of mind.
How do you prepare children for kindergarten?
We utilize the faith-based Abeka curriculum paired with intentional social-emotional frameworks. Public kindergarten teachers frequently tell us they can spot a Kid City graduate instantly because of their strong academic foundations, confidence, and self-regulation skills.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes, we fuel growing bodies with balanced meals and clean snacks to keep children happy, healthy, and active from drop-off to pickup.
